中谷優大は、ひとつの出来事を複数の視点——人間、社会、動物、植物、時間、機械——から見直し、その記述群を同じ空間に並置する美術家である。プロジェクトは「Case」として番号を持ち、各Caseは、ひとつの出来事をめぐる複数の記述の集まりである。世界に出来事があるかぎり、Caseは増えつづける
