TAX or LOVE
TAX or LOVE is a work that uses playing cards to question the balance between systems and emotions. With each card flipped, it reveals the instability of society and illuminates the nature of human life.
The structure, in which a royal straight flush can never be completed, reflects the reality that perfect equilibrium is unattainable.
If the suit is black, tax increases; if red, love increases. However, as one rises, the other must fall.
As systems grow stronger, love is suppressed. When love overflows, systems seem to fade. This dilemma is critically visualized through the work.

本作「TAX or LOVE (税か愛か)」は、トランプを使って制度と感情のバランスを問う作品である。カードをめくるたびに、社会の揺らぎと人間の営みを浮かび上がらせる
ロイヤルストレートフラッシュが永遠に揃わない構造は、理想的な均衡が存在しない現実を示す
スートが黒なら税が上昇し、赤なら愛が上昇する。ただし、どちらかが上がれば、もう一方は必ず下がる
制度が強まれば愛は抑えられ、愛が満ちれば制度は希薄になる。このジレンマを作品として可視化している
